Hanjan is a proudly local, family-owned Korean restaurant that's been feeding Edmonton since 2017. It started as a love letter to the flavours of Korean home cooking, and that's exactly what it still is.

Hanjan was born from a mother and son duo who wanted to share the comfort of traditional Korean meals rooted in a Canadian upbringing. Those flavours — bold, warming, and deeply familiar — became the foundation for everything on the menu.
Made with care, every single day
Every dish is prepared by experienced chefs using fresh, authentic ingredients — including the kimchi, which is made in-house from start to finish. That attention to detail is something you can taste.
More than a meal
Hanjan is the kind of place where a dinner for two turns into a long night, and a solo lunch feels just as welcome as a table of ten. From late-night bites to private karaoke rooms, it's a gathering place as much as a restaurant.
Growing with Edmonton
What started as one local spot has grown into four Edmonton locations — South, Oliver, Whyte Ave, and West — each one carrying the same family-owned heart. Edmonton has embraced Hanjan, and Hanjan is grateful for every guest who's pulled up a chair.
